Gareth Bale fires back at Spanish outlet labelling him 'a parasite'

Gareth Bale scored a cracking freekick to send David Alaba and Austria's hopes of playing at the 2022 World Cup crashing.

While celebrating his goal, Bale yelled “suck that” into the camera, in an apparent dig at being labelled a parasite by Spanish outlet Marca.

Speaking of the incident later, Bale said: “I don’t need to send a message, it’s a waste of my time, it’s disgusting and they should be ashamed of themselves.”

Bale has been ostracized by Carlo Ancelotti, with the Welshman failing to make an appearance in Real Madrid's last 4 games, including El Clasico.

However, he remains a top earner at the club - although his pure talent remains undeniable.
