Hazard set to miss Chelsea game due to pending surgery

Real Madrid will face Chelsea in their upcoming Champions League quarter-final tie with Eden Hazard set to come up against the club where he made his name.

That may be an unlikely event however, as the Madrid player has been sidelined with yet another injury and is going to have a surgery. Real released a statement saying:

"In the coming days, our player, Eden Hazard, will undergo surgery to remove the osteosynthesis plate in his right fibula."

He sat out the El Clasico even though he was fit and with only 8 La Liga starts this season he might not have started against the Blues anyway. He'll still feel disappointed to miss out another big game regardless.
