Klopp rules out Liverpool move for Erling Haaland

When asked about whether Liverpool might pursue a move for Erling Haaland in the summer, Jurgen Klopp said: “No chance! We won’t be going there.

“The numbers involved are just crazy – we’ll be having nothing to do with it. To be honest, I don’t want anything to do with it. It’s not fun.”

Haaland has recently been linked with a summer move to LFC, but it’s clear that Klopp doesn’t want it to happen because of his huge financial demands.

The entire package to sign the Borussia Dortmund striker could reportedly exceed £200m (to be paid through multiple years).

He’d want to become the highest-paid player in the Premier League with wages of over £500,000-a-week, something which Liverpool definitely won’t agree on.
