"Alejandro Balde was great today. He was good in the attack and showed his character," Xavi said after the Getafe game.

Balde started against Getafe since Jordi Alba was suspended for the game. He went on to play 89 minutes, completed 74/79 passes, won 4/7 duels, blocked one shot, and managed one interception and one tackle.
This term so far, the 18-year-old has played seven games for Barcelona.
