As reported by Xavi Campos on Esport3, Barcelona are "worried" about Ansu Fati's fitness level ahead of the start of the new season.
The club had contacted the Spain national team doctors to enquire about the player's condition. As a reminder, Fati was called up by Luis Enrique for the June matches but didn't play a single minute and even skipped some of the training sessions.
The national team doctors ruled out a relapse but said that Ansu was again suffering discomfort in his left thigh. Meanwhile, Barca's pre-season is due to start in a couple of weeks.
Fati's 2021/22 season was strangled by injuries again. The 19-year-old scored six goals and provided one assist in 14 matches (4 starts).
