According to BBC’s Simon Stone, Mason Greenwood will have a private hearing on his bail extension on Thursday.
The Man United forward is still on bail after being arrested in January on the suspicion of raping and assaulting his ex-girlfriend.
Greenwood’s case is still under investigation, but the police have not been able to come to a verdict yet.
He will hope to have his current bail period extended until the investigation is complete. If that somehow isn't done, he could land back in jail next week.
The Englishman was recently trending among United fans with fake rumors claiming that the charges against him were dropped.
But that is not at all true, as Greenwood still remains on bail and will be able to train or available for selection for Man United until further notice.
