After the Napoli game, a journalist asked Jurgen Klopp a rather bizarre question: is he worried about being sacked out of the blue just like Thomas Tuchel was at Chelsea earlier today?
"Not really, but who knows? The difference is we have different kind of owners," the boss replied, as per reporter Paul Gorst.
"Ours are calm and expect me to sort it and not think someone else will. That's how they see it. The day they change their thoughts they might tell me."
While the 4-1 defeat at Napoli was horrendous, asking the questions about the sack is a bit too dramatic.
There's no suggestion that the Liverpool owners even contemplate a managerial change until 2026, let alone in the coming days.
