As per Foot Mercato, Chelsea 'absolutely' do not want to extend Kante's contract due to concerns over his recurring injury issues.
The Frenchman earns €10 million a season and the club do not believe it is worth the investment, according to these reports.
As for Kante, he does not want to leave London and could be offered to Arsenal or Spurs.
It sounds ridiculous that we would let a player like Kante go to a direct local rival but these reports come from not the most reliable of sources and things could go a different way.
