Chelsea-bound Noni Madueke was born in Barnet, north London but is of Igbo descent and has the option of playing for Nigeria.
So far he has made a number of appearances for England at the youth level, most notably scoring 4 times in 6 games for the U-18s.
On the subject of switching to the Nigerian national team, Madueke has said: “I am only 18 so I have got to be open to everything.
If I had a closed mindset I would not be where I am now so for sure I am open to both. We just have to see in the future what is best.”
