Ronaldo’s quick thinking diffused the situation, allowing Fouzair to take the penalty without further delay. Fouzair’s determination paid off as he executed a cheeky panenka kick, sending the ball sailing into the net. 

Despite this late goal narrowing Al-Raed’s deficit to 1-3, the scoreline remained unchanged till the final whistle.
