Luis Diaz's parents were kidnapped by unidentified armed motorcyclists in Colombia
In a distressing turn of events, the parents of Luis Diaz have fallen victim to a kidnapping incident in Colombia. Though the details surrounding the abduction remain unclear, the situation has triggered a high-stakes search involving both local police and the military.
Thankfully, the police successfully rescued Diaz's mother, Cilenis Marulanda, from her captors. Checkpoints have been established to inspect vehicles in the area, with the hope of finding Diaz's father and those responsible.
As for Luis Diaz, the Liverpool star has not yet made any public statements about the kidnapping. Initial security footage, obtained by Semana, seems to capture the vehicle in which Diaz's parents were travelling and a motorcyclist tailing them just moments before the abduction.
This footage, believed to be from a street-side camera, is a vital piece of evidence in this ongoing investigation.
