Injured McTominay arrives at Man Utd training ground ahead of Burnley fixture

Scott McTominay looked glum as he arrived at Manchester United's training ground on Friday morning after coming off injured in the win against Newcastle.

The midfielder was involved in a challenge with Newcastle midfielder Matty Longstaff in the second minute and appeared to hurt himself, but continued until half-time. Paul Pogba replaced the Scotland international at the break of the 4-1 win and McTominay was spotted leaving the ground on crutches.

And the 23-year-old did not look happy as he was driven into the club's training ground for tests on Friday morning.

Solskjaer said after the game on Boxing Day that the midfielder, who has been key for United this season, had damaged ligaments in his knee.
