Lampard Updates On Abraham's Injury Ahead Of Villa Game

Frank Lampard has revealed that he hopes to have Tammy Abraham back from injury for tomorrow night clash with Aston Villa, although  concedes that striker is in race against time to be fit. 

The striker missed the weekend  defeat to West Ham at Stamford Bridge with hip injury he sustained against Valencia but Lampard has said that Tammy could return against the side he spent last season on loan.

'Abraham is doing  okay and we are giving  him every chance to be fit ', Lampard  comfirmed at his pre-match press conference. 

'He still got some pain in the area of the injury,  so we make a judgement call on him tomorrow. It's a painful one I don't want to commit today on whether he will be fit or not.
