Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City set sight on Real Madrid defender

Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City have set sight on Real Madrid star Raphael Varane as they aim to strengthen their options in the defence ahead of the next season.

Varane has been one of Real Madrid best defender since the exit of Pepe from Santiago Bernabeu and he has help Real Madrid to numerous title in the past seasons.

Varane’s deal at the Santiago Bernabeu will expire in in 2022 and Los Blancos directors are yet to call his representatives for new terms which have opened the door for the likes of Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City to enquire about his availability.

Though, Varane forms a crucial part of Real Madrid plans but the Los Blancos directors are taking things sequentially, at the moment Real Madrid is focusing on players who finish their contract in just over a year, they are entering a crucial time for extensions.

Real Madrid is monitoring the situation and the Los Blancos directors are keen on getting the right balance for such players and the club.

Real Madrid does not see Varane’s case as a pressing one considering their relationship with the World Cup winner at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Varane’s renewal talk will be one of the easiest situation faced by the Santiago Bernabeu directors.
