The Spanish La Liga could be back to action to determine the winner of the 2019/2020 season after the league was suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The league will be concluded in a bid to ascertain the winner of the league, the teams that qualified for the Champions League and also the relegating team for the season.

The Spanish minister Pedro Sanchez made it known in his announcement that the activities will return yo normalcy on May 4th and the professional athlete can resume individual training from that date.

La Liga action was on hold due to the outbreak of coronavirus but things will start to get back to normalcy on May 4th when the ban on movement and activities will be lifted.

The Champions League and other major leagues are expected to resume action once some of the top clubs start to resume football actions.

Barcelona top the La Liga with two points with Real Madrid in the second position followed by Sevilla, Real Sociedad and Getafe.

Atletico Madrid is placed on the sixth position and Diego Simeone’s men are battling for a Champions League slot for the next season.
