Arsenal in the race to sign Real Madrid attacker as Aubameyang’s replacement

Arsenal is the race to sign Real Madrid attacker Luka Jovic to replace Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who is keen on leaving the Emirate outfit at the end of the season.

Aubameyang’s contract is due to end at the end of the year and he is unwilling to renew his deal as he wants a move away from the club.

The Gabon international is keen on joining a new club ahead of next season and Arsenal is making plans to fill up the void that would be left behind by the former Borrusia Dortmund star.

The report Diario Sport claims the Gunners have submitted an enquiry with Real Madrid on a propose loan deal for the 23-year-old attacker.

The Serbian is keen on joining the Premier League outfit on loan in a bid to prove himself after his good campaign with Eintracht Frankfurt last season that moved Real Madrid to spend €60 million on his signing.

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane is keen on holding the attacker for another season at the Santiago Bernabeu before he decides on the future of the Serbian star.

Real Madrid is keen on signing Borussia Dortmund Erling Braut Haaland and Kylian Mbappe in the summer of 2021 which might prevent Los Blancos president Florentino Perez to sanction a deal for Jovic this summer.
