Setien lead entire Barcelona first-team squad in a training session first time ever.

Fc Barcelona coach Quique Setien had something to smile about on Monday. Ever since he's took over as Barcelona coach it either one injury or the other on his players, which even lead to the buying of a new striker during the off transfer window due to the shortage of strikers.

For the first time since March, he was able to lead the entire Barcelona first-team squad in a training session and, for the first time in his tenure, that group included Luis Suarez.

The Uruguayan last played for the Blaugrana in the semi-final of the Supercopa de Espana against Atletico Madrid on January 9.

That match in Saudi Arabia was, coincidentally, Ernesto Valverde's last in charge of the Catalan club, with Setien coming in as his replacement.

At the time, Suarez chose to have an operation to address the continuing problems in his left knee and was ruled out of action for four months.

The suspension of the season due to the coronavirus pandemic has seen Suarez recover in time for the final stretch of the campaign.

Now, he's available to team up with Lionel Messi and Antoine Griezmann up front when Barcelona make their LaLiga Santander return against Real Mallorca on June 13.

The MSG trident of Messi, Suarez and Griezmann hasn't come together very often since the latter arrived from Atletico last summer.

Injuries to Messi and Suarez have limited their chances to team up to just 13 matches all season, which have produced eight wins, three draws and two defeats.

Of those 13 games together, only once did all three forwards manage to get on the scoresheet - against Eibar in October.

Now, unless anything changes, Setien will have his MSG attack available for the final 11 fixtures of the LaLiga Santander season, as well as the remainder of the Champions League knockout stage.
