Fc Barcelona and Bartomeu suffers Thousands of bots cyber-attacks

Fc Barcelona has recently suffered a cyber attack from 3,281 bots generating 19,359 messages to promote the pro-Catalan independence sources and criticise the club's current board.

Deloitte has registered a cyber-attack against Barcelona, El Mundo report.

3,281 bots generated 19,359 messages and 23,200 negative impacts on the Catalan giants.

In total, these messages made up around 12.5 per cent of all social media interactions with the club.

The main goal of this cyber-attack was to promote the pro-Catalan independence sources and tarnish the reputation of the Barcelona board.

For example, the bots hit out at the actual fans who showed their support for Josep Maria Bartomeu.

Curiously, Barca's president was accused of hiring a PR company to defame Barca's legends, oppositional candidates and even the current squad.

However, independent audit research hasn't found any evidence of corruption at the Catalan club.
