I deserved more playing time at Barca - Todibo

Barcelona defender Todibo only  made only 3 appearances for Barca this season and was sent on loan to German club Schalke in January where he left and impact on the club soil.

Todibo believes he should have been given more action at Camp Nou.

"This season, I deserved more playing time at Barcelona. The first six months, when I arrived, I did not mind not playing because, in training, I saw that I didn’t have the level yet," Jean-Clair Todibo has told Onze Mondial.

The 20-year-old also shed more light on his first days at Camp Nou.

"When you arrive to training, you see Sergio Buquets not losing a ball and you lose four, five, or six. When I saw that, I had to question myself.

I looked at what he was doing, what the others were doing. I was watching the moves in training."

The Frenchman had played only three games for Blaugrana before being sent on loan to Schalke 04. With the Germans, the 20-year-old registered ten appearances.
