Paul Pogba To sign New Manchester United Contract deal

Manchester United ace Paul Pogba has reportedly decided he will sign a new contract at Old Trafford.

The 27-year-old has been impressive since returning to the side, with two assists and a goal from his first five games back.

Pogba’s future continues to be a talking point, with just 12 months remaining on his current contract.

United have the option to extend his deal by a year, but there are suggestions that he will sign a new long-term deal.

He is reported to have been impressed by the team’s recent form, as well as his own partnership with Bruno Fernandes.

And after the 3-0 win over Villa, Pogba spoke for the first time about the reports, and insisted he was solely focused on the rest of the season.

He said: “Right now, I’ve been injured for a very long time, I focused on myself to get back and help the team as much as I can.

“We have two goals, to go for the Europa League and FA Cup, we focus on that.”

The megastar midfielder indicated he was willing to stay at United long-term, as he insisted he wants to keep working towards the Premier League title.

He added: “We’re really pleased with ourselves but we know we have to carry on, we talk before the game and before training that we have to carry on, that’s what Manchester United is.

“It’s a big club, we want to keep the level up always, the performance today and the past few weeks are very good and they are the standard of Manchester United.

“We didn’t win the Premier League, that’s the goal, obviously we have to keep working, there’s a lot to do.”
