Am sure Chelsea is on the right path with Frank Lampard: Mason Mount

Mason Mount has praise Lampard's man-management skills and claims the boss brings winning mentality to the Blues and the team are driven to win trophies under him.

"The gaffer has been there and done it. He knows when to put his arm around you and he knows when to tell you you need to improve on something or look at this in your game and see where you can do better," Mount told Sunday Times.

"There are things we have to work on to get better but we are on the right path, we are driven to win trophies, to really step up our game. We have shown this season that we are capable of doing that."

With all the limitations and difficulties Lampard had to endure during his first season as Chelsea manager, Frank managed to get the team to the Champions League spot and reached FA Cup final while showcasing brilliant attacking football.

And the prolific summer transfer campaign, that has only just begun, clearly indicates that the Blues will set ambitions even higher next season.
