Barcelona president Bartomeu set to announce date of presidential elections

Josep Maria Bartomeu will announce the date of Barca's presidential elections 'shortly', according to Mundo Deportivo.

As reported by El Chiringuito's Quim Domenech, the board are seriously considering holding the elections earlier than initially planned.

They could even be held later this year, as per the abovementioned source.

MD claim that the likeliest option is to conduct them in March 2021.

They add that the campaign could only be held before March if Bartomeu himself resigns or 75 per cent of all the active directors step down.
