Barcelona technical chief Ramon Planes have admitted Barcelona rejected offers for Pedri

Pedri has signed a new five-year contract with Barcelona.

New Barcelona technical chief Ramon Planes admits they had offers to sell Pedri after his loan spell with Las Palmas last season.

He told Sport: "It's true that we've received offers from teams in Spain and across Europe. But the club's idea is that he could be part of the first team for many years and I'm sure he will be.

"The new coach will evaluate everyone."

Pedri also stated at his presentation: "My first choice would be to stay and learn from the best."
