Chelsea Women defeat Manchester City to win first FA Community Shield at Wembley Stadium.

Chelsea Women started the 2020/21 campaign with a bang by beating Manchester City 2-0 in the FA Community shield clash on Saturday.

A stunning long-range goal from England defender Millie Bright and a late finish by substitute Erin Cuthbert gave Chelsea victory over Manchester City in the first Women's Community Shield at Wembley Stadium.

The Blues scored their first goal of the game in the 66th minute thanks to a Millie Bright effort while a thunderbolt Erin Cuthbert in extra time sealed the result.

Chelsea played in the game after winning the Women's Super League title based on the points-per-game system while Man City appeared as the Women's FA Cup winners.
