Barcelona president admits the Catalans tried to sign their former star last year, but as for now, he concedes that the Brazilian appears to be not for sale.
"We wanted to sign him last summer, but his club refused," Josep Maria Bartomeu told Barcelona's official media on Neymar's potential return.
He added: "Neymar is not for sale, it's the truth. It is logical that PSG do not want to sell him."
The PSG winger is enjoying his best season at the French club so far as he has just reached the Champions League final despite his attempts to leave last year.
Still, the Brazilian is constantly linked with the Barcelona return but his estimated €128m price and PSG's firm stance make this transfer impossible.
