Real Betis have 'resumed contacts' with Barcelona's Juan Miranda as they want to bring the youngster on loan, local outlet El Desmarque report.
They would also like to add a buy option in his contract.
The plan is for the La Masia graduate to compete with Alberto Moreno for the starting spot at left-back.
The 20-year-old might be inclined to join Betis as he had spent six years at their academy before moving to Barca in 2014.
Miranda was loaned out to Schalke 04 for the 2019/20 where he made 12 appearances and registered one assist.
Juan has recently changed agents and is now represented by the same person as Cristian Tello, so Betis are positive about the move.
