Real Madrid set asking price for Bale €17m & €8.5m for James

Real Madrid are ready to get rid of James Rodriguez and Gareth Bale for an extremely discounted price, according to Sport.

Los Blancos are said to have placed a €17m price-tag on Bale as they look to get his massive wages out of their finances.

With James also desperately seeking a move elsewhere, Madrid have lowered their demands to just €8.5m for him.

Of course, selling them for this cheap would reflect big losses for Los Blancos, with both having been bought for expensive fees.

But the club are looking to get these two off their books and improve the wage structure after making significant losses due to the Covid-19 situation.
