Revealed: Cristiano wanted to leave Juventus before Covid-19 outbreak
The Portuguese and former Manchester United player apparently was unhappy in Turin.
Cristiano Ronaldo came close to leaving Juventus before the coronavirus pandemic hit Europe, according to tier-one source France Football.
However, the Portuguese never considered a return to Real Madrid and instead wanted to join Paris Saint-Germain to play alongside Kylian Mbappe and Neymar.
The 35-year-old subsequently made a decision to stay in Turin despite being 'unhappy' with life in Italy, leading Maurizio Sarro's side to their ninth consecutive Serie A title.
