Statistics shows Sergio Ramos dominates Gerard Pique in 2019/20 La Liga season

Sergio Ramos had a terrific La Liga season with Real Madrid, which was capped off by winning the title.

He also managed to outperform Barcelona defender Gerard Pique in many aspects of their game to prove himself the alpha defender.

Ramos averaged more tackles than Pique (1.3-0.9), made more interceptions per game (1.4-1) and picked up less yellow cards (10-15) than the Barcelona centre-back.

Even at the other side of the pitch, Ramos scored 11 goals, 10 more than Pique and averaged more shots (1.1-0.4) and dribbles (0.3-0.2) per game.

The only aspect Pique topped Ramos was more clearances (4.3-2.8) and blocks (0.7-0.3) per game, but the Madrid captain dominated him elsewhere.
