Top transfer journalist has revealed that Havertz to Chelsea 'just a matter of time

According to Fabrizio Romano, one of the most reputable sources in football, Kai Havertz will join Chelsea extremely soon.

As per the journalist, the Blues and Bayer Leverkusen reached an agreement over the transfer a week ago.

The official announcement has been delayed due to paperwork.

The 21-year-old is going to sign a five-year deal at Stamford Bridge.

The move will cost Chelsea €80m plus €20m in add-ons.

"Just a matter of time... then Kai Havertz will join Chelsea. The agreement has been reached one week ago - it’s all about paperworks, clauses, normal timing for a €100m deal (add ons included)," the reporter tweeted.

Havertz has been sensational, scoring 46 goals and providing 31 assists in 150 appearances for Bayer's first team.
