Bale has revealed the reason why he left Real Madrid back to Tottenham

The Welshman suggests that he felt the time was right for him to move on from Los Blancos.

Bale insists that he loved his stay at Madrid and admits there are ups and downs at every club.

When asked about why he made the decision to leave Real Madrid and rejoin Tottenham Hotspur this summer, Gareth Bale said: “Why I left Real Madrid? I spoke with my wife and we felt the time was right.

“I had fun and I loved living in Madrid, there are ups and downs in all the clubs, wherever I go the high is incredibly high and the drop is very low.”

Well, Bale definitely picked the right moment to leave Madrid because he was not going to be in Zinedine Zidane’s plans for this summer.

He was pretty classy in saying goodbyes to his teammates and wishing Zizou the best of luck for the coming season.

But with his deal only being a one-year loan, Bale will have to perform really well to earn a permanent move to Spurs and close his chapter for Los Blancos once and for all.
