Barca manager Ronald Koeman leaves Luis Suarez out of squad to face Girona: Gerard Romero

It looks like Koeman is indeed ready to send Suarez to the stands for the whole season if the striker doesn't leave now.

Luis Suarez will not be a part of Barcelona's matchday squad for Wednesday's friendly against Girona, reliable Gerard Romero of RAC1 has just tweeted.

Ronald Koeman also left the Uruguayan out of the squad for last week's friendly clash with Nastic.

Earlier this week Romero suggested that Suarez could feature against Girona as Barca are struggling to negotiate the striker's exit from Camp Nou.

Luis is not in Koeman's plans for the future and has been shown the door by the new head coach.

The thing is that Suarez reportedly wants to get the remaining part of his €15m yearly salary to terminate his contract in this transfer window.

Some reports have suggested that the Catalans think of 'banishing Luis Suarez to the stands' until his current deal expires and it looks like that could be the case if the 33-year-old doesn't leave now.
