Barcelona boss Koeman reveals he is very happy with Griezmannn even if he doesn't score

Koeman highlights that Griezmann can play in various positions upfront.

The new coach praised the Frenchman for his defensive contribution vs Villarreal.

"I'm very happy with Antoine Griezmann. It doesn't matter that he didn't score," Ronald Koeman has told Movistar after the 4-0 win over Villarreal.

"Griezmann can play in different positions in attack. I think he has worked very well, also defensively. I'm very happy with his performance. The most important thing is that the team has won. It doesn't matter who scores the goals."

Curiously, Koeman had the Frenchman play on the right flank despite saying earlier that he doesn't see Griezmann fit to play as a winger. Unfortunately, Antoine had a bad game against the Yellow Submarine, as he was barely involved in Barcelona's game.
