Barcelona coach Koeman gives update on Pjanic's fitness ahead of Elche clash

Barcelona will take on Elche in the Joan Gamper Trophy on Saturday, September 19.

Ronald Koeman confirms that Pjanic will make the squad list.

However, he won't be available for the whole game, the Dutchman notes.

"Pjanic will be included in the squad list for tomorrow's game [vs Elche]. He's very likely to play, even though he can't play for the entire game," Ronald Koeman has confirmed to the media.

On Thursday, Miralem Pjanic joined the team training for the first time as the Bosnian recovered from the coronavirus.

Barcelona bought the 30-year-old midfielder from Juventus for €60m.

The Catalans will face Elche in the Joan Gamper Trophy on Saturday, September 19. The game will be played at Camp Nou.
