Barcelona have come up with a plan that would allow them to unblock the negotiations over a new contract with Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Diario Sport say.
The German wants his salary increased but Blaugrana can't afford that at the moment due to the bad economic situation at the club.
Thus, the Catalans plan to offer the 28-year-old a contract until 2024 that would see his salary increase every year.
Ter Stegen is ready to accept this unusual offer, the same source reports.
Meanwhile, Barca want to renew the goalkeeper's contract until November when he's scheduled to return to the pitch after his recent knee surgery
Marc's current deal at Camp Nou expires already in 2022.
