Barcelona haven't changed much despite opting for 4-2-3-1 formation: Gimnastic coach

Toni Seligrat admits that they weren't prepared to Barca's new formation.

However, he notes that the way Barca move the ball around hasn't changed much.

"We aren't used to seeing the 4-2-3-1 at Barca but they have the same approach when it comes to keeping the ball and attacking," Gimnastic head coach Toni Seligrat has told Radio MARCA.

Interestingly, Ronald Koeman assured that switching to the new formation would massively contribute to Barca's attacking efforts.

Koeman implemented his favourite formation. It was the first game with the new set-up, and the team looked confident, although there were a few defensive mistakes.

Barca have won the match 3-1 thanks to goals from Ousmane Dembele, Antoine Griezmann and Philippe Coutinho.
