Barcelona head coach Koeman to use 2 different teams in preseason match vs Gimnasti

The coach currently has 28 players in the squad, no wonder he is going for heavy rotations.

Ronald Koeman will use a new team in each half in the friendly match against Gimnastic de Tarragona, ESPN's Samuel Marsden reports.

The coach is likely doing this because he's got an extensive squad and wants to see everyone in action.

It's also been reported that Koeman will implement his favourite formation, the 4-2-3-1, at Barcelona.

Unfortunately, he won't be able to count on Ansu Fati, who has picked up a hip injury during Friday's training.

Marc-Andre ter Stegen (injured), Miralem Pjanic and Jean-Clair Todibo (COVID-19) will also miss the match.

Barca play Gimnastic on Saturday, September 12, at 7:00 pm local time.
