Barcelona willing to terminate Luis Suarez contract by offering him €7m, player keen on staying

Suarez's move to Juventus has seemingly fallen through and now his future is up in the air.

Barcelona have offered Luis Suarez €7m, half of his remaining wages, in order for him to accept to terminate his contract, Cadena SER report.

However, the player has rejected the offer, telling his lawyers that he only considers being paid in full, not a cent less.

People within the board believe that the Juventus negotiations were just a smokescreen in order to delay his exit when, in fact, Suarez doesn't consider leaving.

Luis is not part of Ronald Koeman's plans for the next season but the coach has said he will be ready to count on him if the Uruguayan stays.

The 33-year-old's contract expires next summer but it will be automatically extended for one more year in he plays more than 60% of the matches this season.
