Chelsea have officially announced that Davide Zappacosta has joined Serie A side Genoa on a season-long loan.
Last term, the right-back made 9 appearances for AS Roma, missing most of the season due to cruciate ligament rupture.
Since joining Chelsea from Torino in 2017 for initial €28m, the 28-year-old has made 52 appearances for the club, scoring 2 goals and providing 4 assists.
The 13-time Italy international has won 2 major trophies with the Blues - the 2017/18 FA Cup and the 2018/19 Europa League.
