Ex-La Masia player Espinosa reveals why Sergi Roberto will give a lot of competition to Barca new signing Dest

Espinosa believes that Dest will arrive at Barca already prepared to perform, the American is expected to be made official by the end of the week.

"Sergino Dest is an offensive player and Barcelona is the best place for him to develop. I think he will do well from the beginning.

Sergino is going to arrive prepared," ex-Blaugrana midfielder Javier Espinosa has told COPE. The Spaniard knows Dest well as he's playing for Twente and has met the American on the pitch.

"I read that Ronald Koeman asked for Dest, but he will also have competition with Sergi Roberto who also performs well as a full-back. He is the only one who understands Barca's style. Dest will not have it easy."

According to the latest report from RAC1, Dest will land in Barcelona late on Tuesday. The 19-year-old is expected to be presented this week.
