Former Chelsea player Nicolas Anelka speaks on Chelsea's chances to win Premier League after excellent transfer.

Nicolas Anelka points out that Chelsea already had players good enough to finish in top-four.

Now, he expects them to fight for the top prize.
Still, a lot will depend on the teams above them.

"I think they have a great chance to win the title. It depends on what Liverpool and Manchester City will do as well," Nicolas Anelka who played for each of those teams told Stadium Astro.

"But he’s [Frank Lampard] got the quality to finish fourth in the league last season and, with the signings, he’s got the quality to win it.

"It depends after in terms of the experience of the players whether they are strong enough to race until the end but the quality is in Chelsea as well. So I believe first, second or third. We will see a great Chelsea at the end."

After finishing 33 points behind Liverpool in the 2019/20 season, Chelsea went on the offensive, signing Ben Chilwell, Thiago Silva and Kai Havertz in addition to Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner who arranged their transfers earlier.

Not all of them might be ready to play from the very first game of the campaign, though: Chilwell and ZIyech have injury concerns, Kai Havertz barely trained with Bayer before moving to London this week, while Thiago Silva is still self-isolating after flying from Italy.
