Harry Kane name Real Madrid Marcelo among best full-back he's ever faced

Kane knows a thing or two about going up against world-class defenders.

Marcelo is among the full-backs who stand out for the Tottenham striker.

Speaking to SPORTbible about the toughest full-backs he has ever played against, Harry Kane said: "Marcelo for Real Madrid.

"Fantastic left-back - his quality on the ball is amazing. Really, really special. Right-back? I played against Dani Alves in a pre-season game once.

"He's as good as you imagine - his resume is pretty much the best there is. So a lot of tough defenders, but great for me to play against the best."

The Tottenham striker has gone up against Marcelo a few times in the Champions League in recent years with Madrid securing three back-to-back titles.

The Brazilian is set for a reduced role at the Bernabeu next season with Zinedine Zidane settling on Ferland Mendy as his first-choice left-back.
