I feel good but the victory is missing': Martin Odegaard speaks after making his first Real Madrid start

Madrid had to settle for a goalless draw against Real Sociedad on Sunday.

Odegaard played in a no.10 role in his second official game for the club.

Speaking to Movistar after the 0-0 draw at Real Sociedad, Martin Odegaard said: "I feel good, but the victory is missing. I'm not very happy but it's been good to play for Madrid.

"I understand teammates well, it's hard at first but they're players who are on an incredible level and that's why it's easier for me.

"It was a special match, against friends, against good people. Zinedine Zidane asks me to help the team, make chances, be between the lines and attack."

Odegaard, who last played for Real Madrid in May 2015, developed into one of the best midfielders in La Liga on loan at La Real last season.
