I saw confidence in him: Chelsea boss Frank Lampard reacts to Kepa performance against Brighton.
Chelsea are actively searching for a new goalkeeper.
Lampard is refusing to publicly criticise the Spaniard.
Speaking to Sky Sports after the 3-1 win at Brighton, Frank Lampard said: "I am happy with Kepa Arrizabalaga.
"I saw confidence in him, he is here, he is our keeper and I am happy with him. No news on this one [his future]."
Chelsea were without a clean sheet on Monday with the Spaniard failing to stop Leandro Trossard's long-range effort.
The latest reports suggest that the Blues are on the verge of securing the transfer of Rennes goalkeeper Edouard Mendy.
