'It's normal to see players getting tired after 70 minutes': Barcelona manager Koeman

Barcelona defeated Elche in the Joan Gamper Trophy 1-0.

Ronald Koeman reminds the fans that it's only the pre-season, so it's normal that players got tired during the game.

There were some positives but Barca should wrap the game up faster, Koeman notes.

"We're still in pre-season and it's normal we saw the players getting tired after 70 minutes," Ronald Koeman commented after the Elche clash.

"There were things I was pleased with today, but we have to finish the game off earlier," the manager added.

Barcelona's 1-0 win over Elche was the Catalans' final pre-season fixture. Barca scored an early goal but failed to convert their chances afterwards.

Barcelona will now take on Villarreal at Camp Nou in La Liga on Sunday, September 27.
