‘It’s time to start winning games’: De Gea task United to bounce back after poor start.

The Spaniard admits that the Red Devils began the season poorly.

He insists that United must try to play as they did towards final 10 games of last season and start playing their best football.

Speaking ahead of Man United’s game against Brighton & Hove Albion, David de Gea told MUTV: “It’s true the first game wasn’t the best game for us.

“It was a strange time after last season not having enough time to rest properly but it’s the same for all teams.

“It’s time to start winning games. Last season we finished really, really strong so we need to try to play as we did in the last 10 games of last season. This is the way we need to be and playing our best football.”

Indeed, the Red Devils need to rediscover their mojo and start playing as they did in the post lockdown games last season.

While De Gea put in a pretty good performance, United were clearly not fit enough in the damning loss to Crystal Palace and will aim to silence doubters with an emphatic win against Brighton.
