Junior might leave only if he's offered a better project than the one at Barca.

Junior Firpo wants to stay at Barcelona for the 2020/21 season as none of the departure offers have convinced him, Mundo Deportivo's Fernando Polo says.

The 24-year-old has already talked to Ronald Koeman, and the coach has informed him that Jordi Alba will be the starting left-back this season.

Still, Firpo believes that the coach will give him enough chances to prove himself in case Alba doesn't perform at the required level.

Last term, Junior recorded one goal and two assists in 23 matches; he acted as a back-up to Jordi Alba.
