Kai Havertz first message as Chelsae player to the fans after Stamford Bridge move.

The Blues' newest signing apprecates how much Chelsea supporters wanted him to arrive.

"First of all, thank you very much," Kai Havertz addressed the Chelsea fans through the club's official website.

"I am glad to be here and I read very many messages from them and they write to me very often on my social media account.

"So I saw that and cannot wait to play in front of the fans. I try to do my best to make them proud and I try to do my best so we have many successes."

One of the most exciting talents in Europe, Kai Havertz has joined Chelsea for just around ₤62m plus add-ons.

He'll have more than a week before a chance to make his debut for the Blues in th Premier League opener against Brighton which is scheduled for Monday, September 14.
