Kepa Arrizabalaga wants Chelsea stay after club's big defensive strengthening

Kepa Arrizabalaga feared his Chelsea career was over at the end of last season after being relegated to the bench, forcing him to consider leaving London.

However, according to the Sun, the Spaniard is now willing to stay at Stamford Bridge and fight for his place in goal, putting the inconsistency of the last campaign behind.

Apparently, the 25-year-old has been 'impressed by the club's defensive strengthening' with Thiago Silva arriving at the club recently to instill some much-needed order in defence.

Frank Lampard is yet to decide on his first-choice shot-stopper for the 2020/21 season with both Kepa and Willy Caballero spending 45 minutes on the pitch in Saturday's 1-1 draw against Brighton.
