Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi has confirmed they're closing on Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira.

Pereira is due in Rome this week for a Lazio medical.

Inzaghi said, “I know him, he is a quality player who can give us a big helping hand. I don't want to talk too much about players who haven't signed yet, we are fortunate enough to have Tare who knows what to do. We'll see if he arrives or not."

Lazio chief Igli Tare also told TMW: “Pereira will arrive over the next two to three days."
